Shri Krishna Janmastami

Janmashtami marks the divine appearance of Lord Krishna, The Supreme Personality of Godhead, who manifests in this world to protect His devotees and reestablish dharma. The occasion is celebrated with bhajans, kirtan, discourse, and prasadam, as devotees gather to immerse themselves in Krishna’s teachings and transcendental pastimes.

Festivities Include

  • 12 noon–5 pm: Krishna Katha recitation
  • 5 pm onwards: Bhajans, Kirtans, Jhulan Yatra (Swing Ceremony), Drama, Abhishek (Bathing Ceremony), Kids Activities, Midnight Arati, and more! 🍽️ Prasadam feast (to-go) will be served after the midnight arati.

ISKCON CT Ratha Yatra – 2025

The Jagannath Ratha Yatra in Connecticut has been a cherished annual tradition for over 17 years, bringing together devotees in a grand procession celebrating Lord Jagannath, Balabhadra, and Subhadra. Inspired by the historic Ratha Yatra of Puri, this festival embodies devotion, unity, and spiritual joy, as beautifully decorated chariot carry the deities through the streets. Accompanied by kirtan, dance, and prasadam, the event fosters a deep sense of community and divine connection. Hosted by ISKCON CT, it continues to grow, spreading the timeless message of bhakti and universal love.
